In the picture of you holding a Ling it looks like you have a swimbait rigged with a double or treble tied on near the leadhead. I don’t think I’ve seen that rig before, how did you tie that on? And do you put anything on the treble, or let it swing free.
Sometimes I’ll rig it where I tie to the shank and sometimes to the bend in the hook. What I do is take a piece of 50# braid and then tie the treble on it. I hook it into the swimbait on about the last 1/3 of it in order to preserve the tail action, but make it catchy if they shortbite.
