You think you have the rig set right the right line an use the right bait and still no corbina are you riging up wrong or just not bitting at the ttime
It’s just a tough fish to catch. Pretty cagey. I saw 8 on my last outing and not one bite. I think that maybe the water was too clear and they could see me. Keep at it. Please share a pic if/WHEN you score Anthony. Good luck!
You could use a loose eye knot like the Perfection Loop (look it up on YouTube), but I just keep it loose above the hook. You’re usually reeling in against the tide anyway.

is the bead tied right above the hook in that picture or how does it stay there? definitely a tough fish to catch, the elusive corbina

lol yeah i didnt think of that. Ill just keep it loose. Never tried the bead above the hook thing. Ill give it a try tomorrow morning… Thank you

Let us know how it goes. BTW, where are you finding sand crabs? Kind of hard to come by this time of year
