Joe, I would like to add a couple things.
Want to add this to what you said about using a swivel as a braid to topshot connection. I to use this method all the time. I find the best swivels to use are the spro power swivel in 50 & 80lb. For their rating they are very small and run thru the guides easily. I use the 50# for up to 30# line and the 80# for 40-60# line.
If you want to use a longer topshot, remember ceramic guides could be damaged and the swivel might interfere with longer casts.
Last thing is we might be fishing deep waters also. People should be ready with at least 1 20oz sinker or leadhead or maybe 2. Tide swings and current could be tough at 450ft.
Yup, when I want to use a swivel, the Spro are the best ones. You have to be careful though not to reel them thru the guides. The smallest nick will make ceramic guides a deadly braid cutter. See you out there Mark!
Hook selection is based on the bait. Size 2 for anchovy to maybe 5/0 for a mackerel. Weight based on depth, current, speed of drift etc. Plan on min 10-16 oz

Joe,
What size circle hooks do you recommend? How about lead weights?
How much quantity for group of three anglers?
